# PR Author

> Use the PR Author Expert to have an agent build a change from a task description — creating the branch, implementing changes, and handling follow-up.

## PR Author

PR Author is the canonical Ticket-to-PR Expert. It turns a task description, ticket, or existing change into a reviewed pull request or merge request. It creates the branch, implements the change, opens the review, and stays with it through CI, merge conflicts, and review comments.

* **Best for**: Any change where you want an Expert to own the implementation loop and follow-up work.
* **How to use**: Start a session with PR Author and describe the task, paste a ticket, or reference an existing pull request or merge request. The agent implements the change, responds to comments, fixes failures, and keeps the review up to date.
